Think book club...but with music albums
Students are able to come together to have a laid back conversation and discuss several different albums of their choosing. In the most recent Tune Talk students shared their insights and opinions on Blond by Frank Ocean.
Beats by Briggs, virtually known as "Boom by Zoom", is a concert series that bring in new musicians to campus and spans throughout the entire year. Students bring blankets and enjoy the company of their friends while watching the performance on Briggs patio. Past artists have included Harlan, Austin Moody, and Raneem Imam.
Homecoming concert is held among many events during homecoming weekend. Every year the board looks for a new artist or band to perform for students and their families. In the past, those who attended enjoyed free food trucks and performances by Rabbit's Foot, Sarah and the Sunday's, and Peach Pit.
IYKYK. Rites of Spring is Concerts signature event and one of the biggest events hosted on campus. Often occurring in the third week of April, we bring in one to two big name artists for “Rites Weekend.” Students are able to vote for the artist/genre of the concert via email and have the opportunity to win meet and greet passes. Ways of winning have included entering raffles at RAB events, scavenger hunts, or through the cash cab. Previously we have invited Waka Flacka, Cherub, Wale, Aminé, and 6lack. This years headliner will be announced in April and we can’t wait for everyone to find out!
